Submit a Case for Discussion

In addition to work-in-progress from academics and events of significance in the world of platform policy, we are committed to discussing hard cases with which technology professionals are confronted. The following case submission form has been completely anonymized. Organizers will not be able to see who submitted it or attempt to identify its author(s). All cases will also be treated as hypothetical cases even if they are inspired by real ones.

Here is an example of a case that could be submitted and discussed: Imagine that deepfake technology now allows users of a given social media platform to generate fake live streams. Should this be allowed? If not, what moderation policy should apply?
